At PURE, we take cleanliness and hygiene seriously. Our protocols include:

  1. Deploying DIS.IN.FX solutions, including patented RAZOR antimicrobial coating on all yoga rooms, rental mats, rental towels and common area surfaces and touch points. We have been in this program for the last 10 years, with regular treatment, testing, and earning the “Germ Expert Certified” seal. Find out more at
  2. Cleaning every yoga mat after every use with a solution of isopropyl alcohol and water to disinfect them completely.
  3. Cleaning all surfaces with commercial cleaning products, several times per day, every single day.

What else can you do?

  1. Follow CDC and health professional guidelines for good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face, mouth and eyes.
  2. Be more mindful of personal space between you and others during this time.
  3. If you have traveled overseas recently, or have been in contact with someone who has, and either you or they start to experience any symptoms, please do not come to the studio.
  4. Talk to your doctor before coming to class if you’re feeling ill or have any concerns about your health. If you’re sick, please stay home, rest and get better soon!
  5. Consider strengthening your immune system with supplements of Vitamins D, C, and B complex. Don’t stress, sleep well, and eat healthy, and practice more yoga!

Help Us Keep a Germ Free Environment
With the risk of COVID-19 on the rise, we ask that you take extra precautions to keep yourself and others around you safe. Please be extra mindful of your fellow students’ and teachers’ personal spaces:
  1. Please arrive early/on-time so that the yoga room can be set up with optimal space between students. If you need to leave class early for any reason, please set up near the back door for easy exit.
  2. Bring all you need into the classroom, including an extra towel for cleanup, extra water and tissues.
  3. Do your best to maintain your sweat in your own space and stay in the room the entire time. Tiptoe around if you need to leave.
  4. If you use a tissue during class, please keep it on your mat and under your towel for sanitation, then properly dispose of after class.
  5. Consider bringing/buying your own yoga mat and towel, along with a waterproof plastic bag to bring them back home.
  6. Remember to gather all of your personal belongings. Our lost and found drawers are overflowing.
  7. Lastly, curb your enthusiasm, just a tiny bit, in our Inferno Hot Pilates classes: Instead of high fives, give a big thumbs up or shout out to your neighbor!

For the last 10 years, we have taken the extra effort to deploy DIS.IN.FX solutions to keep a germ-free environment. Our studio yoga rooms, common areas, rental mats and towels are treated every quarter with their EPA approved disinfectants, including their RAZOR antimicrobial coating, used widely today in hospitals, nursing homes, daycare and health club facilities. All of our studios are germ-tested each month and certified by DIS.IN.FX as germ free.
