HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR CLASS

HYDRATE

Not only water, but also replenish your electrolytes. Signs of dehydration include headache and nausea. Take it easy, and remember to come to class on an empty stomach.

BE COURTEOUS

Be clean, quiet, and respectful to others. Yoga practice is as much about how you treat others as it is about how you care for yourself.

BE KIND TO YOURSELF

Sometimes it is a victory to simply stay in the heated room for the entire class. Feel free to sit down or skip a posture or two. You'll see improvement over time.

ARRIVE EARLY

Class starts on time! Plan to be at the studio 15 minutes early with a yoga mat, two towels and water. Wear comfortable workout clothes, and prepare to sweat.

CONCENTRATE

Focus on what you're doing. Practice concentration. Our yoga classes are as much as mental exercises as they are physical, creating a true mind and body connection.

Over time you'll learn to concentrate more!. The teacher's specific instructions allow you to focus on each breath and each moment.

No problems if you fall out of a posture. Keep getting back in to build up your will power and stamina. You will get better each day.

Notice not only the changes in your postures, but the changes outside the room. Confidence and faith in yourself will serve you a lifetime!

Find small successes in your practice every day. Don’t focus on how the pose looks. Enjoy the journey!
