How does hot yoga and vinyasa flow benefit your cardiovascular system and help prevent heart disease?  What nutrition and lifestyle choices can you make to prevent and even reverse cardiovascular disease? We are excited to host PURE Action's Yoga for Recovery at PURE Yoga Downtown Austin! Join us on Saturday, February 9, from 12pm to 5:15pm.


Get informed and be inspired with PURE Action's #YogaTALK series, this month promoting and celebrating better heart health. Yoga, nutrition, lifestyle, cardiovascular disease risk and heart health discussions with key speakers Dr. Michael Watkins, MD, FACC of the Seton Heart Institute and Dr. Stacy Hunter, PhD, Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Human Performance at Texas State University in San Marcos, and Research Director for PURE Action, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Also, we will have a special pranayama breathing talk and practice for cardiac health with Charles MacInerney, one of Austin's most experienced yoga teachers and yoga therapists.


Start by taking the 12pm Donation Class at PURE Yoga Downtown Austin, then stay for the #YogaTALK, or plan on taking the day's special 4pm "Yoga For Recovery" donation class led by Mardy Chen. Either way, leave feeling better informed and more inspired to continue your yoga journey!
