I was easily talked into my first Bikram class in 2007 in the Bay Area California. I had recently turned 21 and had been indulging in all the freedom that came with being a full-blown “adult.” My self-esteem was shot and partying was on the rise.

I didn’t love or hate my first Bikram class, but something brought me back the next day. It seemed to help put a smile on my face and so I continued to go.

A year and a half into my practice I signed up to become a Bikram yoga teacher. It wasn’t until I was attending training that I really felt my body and mind begin to shift to a place I thought was not possible for me. I continue to improve spines not only in Austin, but all over the world.
