At PURE Yoga Texas, we have brought Hot Yoga to Austin, Cedar Park and Dallas in its purest form since 2003, introducing its physical and mental health benefits to over 50,000 people. Practicing and leading the same 26-posture set sequence repeatedly over 20 years has enabled our teachers to understand each posture as they relate to a wide range of students. Mardy and Jeff Chen spent a month in 2015 at the Ghosh Yoga College in Calcutta, India, where they learned the process of customizing yoga prescriptions to utilize yoga postures and simple exercises to help with injuries and health conditions. THe Ghosh system of hatha yoga is the foundation for our unique 26-posture set sequence of Hot Yoga.

"Original Hot Yoga" has been researched and studied extensively and found to reduce cardiovascular disease risk, diabetes, depression and anxiety, to help lose weight, recover from injuries (back, neck, shoulder, knee), and boost athletic performance. In fact, you'll see professional athletes practicing side by side with mothers, grandfathers, corporate execs and college students; everyone doing their personal best!

YOGA THERAPY: Old or new Injuries? Modern lifestyles often create chronic physical and mental ailments that take time to appear. A consistent hot yoga practice will help reverse most of these conditions. Our Yoga Therapy class is designed to orient the new or injured practitioner to Hot Yoga, with slightly lower temperatures and plenty of opportunity to ask specific questions based on your needs. It's also a great way to try us out for the first time! ~100 degrees, 60 minutes.
