What's the Best Time of Day to Practice Yoga?

Consistency is Key!
Experiment a little to find the routine that fits your lifestyle and your schedule. This may change over time as your life changes, so be open to trying different PURE locations, class times, and formats to fit your practice in. As we sometimes say,
"you're only bad class is the class you don't take."
Have you noticed how your body feels when you practice first thing in the morning? Many people thrive off of this great start to the day, as it level-sets your body and mind to your daily challenges. You may notice that you feel a little less flexible but much stronger. The Ashtanga system is noted for advocating early morning practice.
Lunchtime yoga is one of our more popular times, as many students try to fit it around their work, children, and school schedules. It is important to practice on an empty stomach, so consider what you consume in the morning. Try a variety of classes, including Inferno Hot Pilates, Hot Yoga, Ashtanga Led Primary Series, and Hot Yoga PLUS and Advanced classes.
Unwinding a stressful day can be had through a late afternoon / evening yoga session, but make sure that you are well-hydrated throughout the day (maybe cut back on the coffee), and have lunch on the lighter side. Many students report that they feel more flexible but have less energy in the evening classes after a full day. Notice how you feel, slow down a bit, but most importantly, breathe. You'll still feel great afterwards and probably have a great night's sleep.
Bottom line, it doesn't matter if you do yoga at different times on different days of the week, as long as you find a routine that is sustainable. Let yoga fit into your schedule instead of trying to work your schedule around yoga. As we say, the toughest part of a yoga class is showing up!
