Join Marie Belle at PURE Yoga Texas for three Ashtanga workshops taking place Friday, September 6 & Saturday, September 7.

Friday, September 6

6:00-8:00pm - Ashtanga Master Class

Get ready to elevate your yoga practice with this master class designed to ignite your spirit, challenge your body, and leave you feeling invigorated and empowered. This dynamic and accessible class seamlessly blends elements of Ashtanga Primary + Intermediate series into a fun and exhilarating experience. Practice will include Sun Salutations, Standing Postures, Seated Postures, and closing. You will be guided through proper breath count, drishti, and movements in a progressive, approachable, and well-paced manner. This class will offer modifications where needed, and will establish a thorough understanding of the steps needed to work on for you to progress in a safe, sustainable, and rewarding way. We will end with a peaceful rest and some time for Questions and Answers. All are welcome to join. Previous yoga experience recommended.


Saturday, September 7

12:00-2:00pm - Ashtanga Offroading

Expand your practice with an invigorating and playful Ashtanga based flow that will awaken your body and spirit. Prepare for a session of exploration of tradition with some new and different transitions, perspectives, and added hip, spine, and shoulder variations that will leave you feeling energized, empowered, and renewed. Whether you're a seasoned practitioner or new to the mat, you'll find plenty of opportunities to challenge yourself, grow, and discover new possibilities. Perfect for yogis of all levels who are ready to explore the playful, strong, and dynamic side of yoga while deepening their practice. All levels are welcome.

3:00-5:00pm - Mindful Mobility

Cultivate strength, balance, and access throughout your entire body and mind. This class is specifically designed to bring in mobility, strength, and access around the hips, shoulders, and spine. Marie Belle teaches you how to include all different aspects of mobility and active flexibility exercises within a yoga flow full of receptive alignment, mindful embodiment, and synchronized with the breath. This practice primarily includes yoga, and also includes mobility and playful approaches to reprogramming the body, mind, and breath. All levels are welcome.


Meet Marie Belle

It is an auspicious and profoundly transformative experience to study with Self-Realized Master, Sri Mooji Baba, immerse myself fully in the practice of Ashtanga Yoga with R. Sharath Jois and Richard Freeman, and the Teacher’s Teacher, Sri Dharma Mittra. Developing a deep yoga and meditation practice has completely transformed my movement patterns, communication abilities, and capacity to perceive and offer love.

I am grounded in a daily Mysore and Dharma yoga practice. I also love being in nature and often train hand balancing, rock climbing, contortion, and dance; all of it is intuitive movement. It's all love. With extensive training as a Psychologist in Social Emotional Development (Ph.D.), Women’s Studies (Graduate Certificate), Somatic Transformation, and mindfulness based emotion management, my classes utilize a keen awareness of the intellectual, emotional, and energetic body to empower those who practice consistently, for a long period of time, with devotion. I offer universal intimacy, full of love, honor, and a sweet mix of playfulness, integrity, and discipline.
