This is a 2 hour, deep fascia release workshop combining trigger point therapy, traditional yin yoga and conscious breathing.
We will unwind the stress, tensions and traumas stored in the mind-body that restrict mobility and cause chronic pain / discomfort.
In this fascia release workshop we will be focusing on the spine. The spine does more than just support the shape of our torso: it initiates and integrates movement across the body, it gives structure to some of our most vital organs, and it even houses our central nervous system. Opening the spine is as much about health as it is about movement. We feel better overall, lighter, brighter, easier, when our spines are relieved of tension. This month we will be addressing tension around the neck and spine to reopen these most central and important parts of our bodies.
This Release workshop will be part of an ongoing series to relieve myofascial tension through the entire body.
EVERYONE WELCOME.
Meet Carter Miles
I didn’t realize this when I found yoga, but I was deeply searching for something to help me feel better… Happier, healthier, more present, more alive, more myself. Yoga gave me that. I loved how it made me feel and was immediately hooked in. I recognized the power in the practice and have devoted myself to better understanding the science behind it.
To me, Yoga is a practice for living better. This means reconnecting to ourselves, healing old wounds (both physical and psychological), developing our strengths and becoming the person we have the potential to be. As a teacher I aim to help my yogis slow down, get back into their bodies and explore that uncomfortable edge where growth happens.
