Now in its 23rd year, the Texas Yoga Retreat is an authentic yoga and meditation retreat held at a beautiful ashram on 250 acres in southwest Austin. The vision for the retreat is Building a caring and inclusive yoga community. Everyone is welcome!
The retreat is suitable for all levels, from beginning yoga students to seasoned practitioners and teachers. The schedule is set up like a conference, with a variety of class options from which to choose throughout the day and evening. Participate in a relaxing meditation class, join a kirtan (chanting), listen to a lecture, or enjoy physical practice from varying traditions.

This class is great for students wanting begin exploring the Ashtanga Primary Series. With plenty of Sun Salutations and vinyasa between postures, you’ll build more upper body strength and learn to ride the rhythm of your breath. Some of the more challenging postures are skipped at the instructor’s judgment, and more time is allowed for explanations, modifications, and hands-on assists.
