Hydration for Hot Yoga & Pilates Lovers

If you love a good sweat session during heated yoga or Pilates, you know hydration is key to feeling your best and performing at your peak. These workouts push your limits, and staying hydrated helps you maintain energy, prevent cramps, and recover faster.

Here’s why it matters: when you sweat, you’re not just losing water—you’re also losing electrolytes, which are essential for muscle function, focus, and endurance. Without proper hydration, you risk fatigue and dehydration, which can sideline your progress.

So, how do you hydrate smartly?

- Before Class: Drink 16–20 oz of water 1–2 hours before class. Hydration starts well before you hit the mat.

- During Class: Sip small amounts of water every 15–20 minutes to stay balanced.

- After Class: Replenish with water or electrolyte-rich drinks like coconut water to restore what you’ve lost.
